Young people want more than just the “birds and the bees”. They want to learn more about healthy relationships, LGBTQ2S+ specific content, and all the other good stuff! They want educators who are thoughtful about accessibility and language, and who are comfortable and confident when teaching sexual health. Come to this session to learn more about comprehensive sexual health education, why it’s important and resources to increase your confidence in providing this material. You’ll learn about how to use tools such as the question box and other resources available at TeachingSexualHealth.ca, an Alberta Education authorized resource.
