This session will explore the LDC- Holocaust Studies developed in 2020 in collaboration between Foothills School Division and the Calgary Jewish Federation. As primary writer, Lindsay will walk teachers through the three levels of the course and share the experiences and resources used during the first year of implementation. Time will be spent on the curriculum of the LDC, hands-on resources and feedback, and group discussion.

Following this presentation last year there are now at least 5 schools across Alberta currently offering Holocaust Studies 15-25-35 as options to high school students. The initial session was well received at each of the conventions; it was presented with teachers eager to have it run in their respective schools. Having taught all three courses now, the session will introduce resources and the curriculum to teachers in a comprehensive and engaging manner.
