Yikes! Somebody asked me a question about sexual health…now what!

Teaching sexual health in the classroom can feel awkward and intimidating for all of us!
Why is one breast bigger than the other? How do I know if I am gay? Teacher, when did you start having sex? Why did my daughter learn about birth control at school? Students, parents and teachers have lots of questions about sex and sexual health. Come to this interactive session to have an overview of the Alberta Ed/AHS resources available for educators and supports for your classroom from grades 4-12; and for yourself! Learn how to use the the question box effectively, the different types of questions students ask, how to address slang, and how to deal with those embarrassing and sometimes difficult, personal questions.
