Do you want to help children & youth thrive, promote positive behavior and build positive connections? Do you want to help young people avoid risky behaviour?

Developmental assets are the building blocks of healthy development that help children grow up caring, responsible and resilient. Developmental relationships are close connections through which children and youth discover who they are, learn how to engage with the world around them, and learn ways to shape their own lives.
You will learn about these two frameworks, as well as:

• Factors that contribute to the healthy development of children & youth.
• What you can do to help build skills, experiences and opportunities for children & youth.
• How building on young people’s strengths can help prevent alcohol and drug abuse and other risky behaviours.
• The 5 key elements to make your relationship with young people powerful.
