Creative Mandalas For Relaxation and Stress Relief

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Join me for some therapeutic art and relaxation! Using circular concentric patterns and designs, we will create amazing decorative mandalas on paper. Learn how to add watercolor, ink and markers to decorate your patterns. The process of creating mandalas can be very meditative giving one an escape from the stress of daily life. This could be a great activity for a pd day or possibly a creative math class to show students how to divide a circle into sections.
In today's hectic world, we crave activities that provide peace and solace. This is one of those activities. The habitual practice of the mandala can train a busy mind to be calm which is what participants will learn in this class. You will leave with 2 beautifully completed mandalas that you can frame or give as a gift.
