CATCA 2022 has ended

CATCA recognizes that convention is situated on Treaty 7, South of Red Deer River the traditional territory of the Blackfoot, Tsuu T’ina and Stoney Nakoda peoples, and that the North of Red Deer River Treaty 6, traditional Métis, Cree and Saulteaux territory. We honour the First Peoples who have lived here since time immemorial, and we give thanks for the land.


Most pre-recorded videos and Zoom LIVE recordings will be found right here on SCHED until April 30th. Keynotes are an exception.

Jacqueline (BFA, MFA) specializes in clown, mask, immersive theatre creation and theatre for young audiences. She was the Artistic Producer of Handsome Alice Theatre from 2011-2015, the 2013-14 RBC Emerging Director at Lunchbox Theatre and the Artistic Producer for Evergreen Theatre from 2008-2013. She has directed for Evergreen Theatre, Calgary Opera, The Shakespeare Company, New West Theatre, Lunchbox Theatre, Urban Curvz, Keyano College, Calgary Young People’s Theatre, the University of Calgary and Inside Out Theatre. Jacqueline currently teaches at the University of Calgary, Ambrose University and Inside Out Theatre. As a theatre facilitator she has worked in artist-lead residencies in schools across the province. Jacqueline excels at working with schools to create a customized theatrical experience that utilizes the creativity and originality of their students. Using simple theatrical tools like masks, movement and sound, Jacqueline's approach harnesses the power of theatre to build empathy and emotional intelligence through diverse and inclusive storytelling. With over 15 years of experience working with schools, Jacqueline can integrate curriculum, coordinate multi-disciplinary performances and animate the process of collaboratively creating story structure and character development.
