Kathleen is currently the Elementary Religious Education Consultant for the Edmonton Catholic School Division. She has over 20 years of experience working in Catholic Education; using her master’s in religious education and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd certification to support learning. She has taught Kindergarten to grade five (and all grades in between) in various geographical, cultural, and socio-economic school settings. This has given her an array of practical experience. She serves as the Alberta representative on the Pearson Publishing Editorial Board for the brand-new religion program: Growing in Faith, Growing in Christ. Kathleen spent four years on a secondment with the Archdiocese of Edmonton creating the Standards for Preparing Children and Youth for the Sacraments. Her passion is strengthening the home, parish, and school relationships.
