A retired teacher, with over 25 years of teaching experience in public schools, settlement agencies and for international students, Maria is an experienced instructor, facilitator and trainer, who has been providing professional development and training sessions to organisations like the University of Calgary, Alberta Teachers Association and ATESL, amongst others. She has been providing training sessions on learning styles, multiple intelligences, emotional intelligence, communication strategies, and intercultural communication. Based on extensive research and her long teaching career on two continents, Maria prepared curricula and teaching materials for different levels and programs for institutions across Canada. She is currently running her teacher training company established in 2018.
